Funny thing I've worked at Chevy,Honda and Ford but never for Dodge/Ram my last truck was a 2017 F150 2.7 ecoboost, zero issues other than the dash shell warping from the sun. I really wanted a crew cab for my next lease and I loved the new ram. With my background I've always worked on my own...
I’ve been a dealer tech for almost 10 years prior to my teaching job and dealer techs are usually fighting the clock on warranty work. My mantra with my new truck is it’s only new and original once. Yes I’m upset about it but it could snowball into more problems with a dealer tech slamming a new...
I have a bighorn black out package with a late march 2019 build date, purchased in April. The night i brought it home the back up cam didn't work but i crawled under squeezed all the connectors and it starter working. The first time i drove with the windows down i heard a squeak in the front...
If/when my Z3 craps out ill get something else. When my wife's started bugging out she got one at Walmart for $40 with WiFi/phone app compatibility which isn't bad. I was looking into the OWL cameras but they are pricey and have a monthly subscription.
I have the z-edge z3 and I’m on my 2nd one(free replacement from amazon)the first one lasted about a year(possibly sun damage) my wife’s also started acting up after a while. But as far as picture quality it’s pretty good. For $100 its not bad but I believe there are better options out there.
I believe I fixed it. I took the brake pads out on the passenger front and applied silicone paste to the pads where they slide into the caliper bracket and also where the caliper contacts the pads. So far I've driven it 20-30 miles and have not heard the squeak.
I might wait to see if it gets worse. If its the the rear main i wouldn't be against replacing it myself at my shop. The part is cheap enough. Flat rate techs concern me with a job like this on a vehicle with 300 miles that only has a small drip.
I goofed and got my truck last week and it has 3.92s and an open diff. I assumed the 3.92s made you get the e-locker but you select the e-locker you have to pick 3.92s, the north pkg or the offroad pkg on the build and price. I might add the mopar anti-spin diff down the line if the open diff is...
Good afternoon fellow ram owners,
I noticed when I drive with the windows down there’s a squeak coming from the RF suspension area when I hit a decent sized bump or rough patch of road. It almost sounds like a bird chirping. I don’t think it’s the body mount tsb or anything to do...
