They used to have a system called VOTS. This was before my time when I started ordering trucks so I don’t know what it was like or why the got rid of it.
I get it, order tracking probably doesn’t increase revenue or likelihood of buying/ordering a truck but it’s just sloppy not to offer...
The build is one of the quicker phases throughout the entire process. I think it’s about a day or two (max) in the factory getting built. Then it goes to the mopar shop for things like moldings, running boards, bed liners, etc. that should be pretty quick.
There are many stories here of people...
Goto ramtrucks.com and goto contact us , navigate to chat. That’s what most of us did while we waited. They’re a good resource up to rail delivery, then your dealer is a good contact for tracking the truck on the rails.
Did your dealer provide you with a Vehicle Order Number (VON) or VIN?
If so, you can go to the ramtrucks site and use the chat feature to get updates. A lot of us in here bugged them daily for updates. Better bugging them vs the dealer.
If your dealer didn’t give you that info, ask them for...
Yeah it’ll go to the shop for those.
Once the load it on a train Ram chat should have a estimated delivery date. What state is it being shipped to? Mine was shipped to San Jose and that took about 3 weeks on a train.
Not sure what that phase is but it sounds like a phase in the build process. The build usually takes a day or two. The build seems like the fastest thing in the whole process of ordering a truck lol.
It’s hard to say how long until delivery. Depends on what things need to get put on in the...
I think ram could technically give you the VIN if you have the VON. If you don’t have either of those you’ll need to talk with your dealer. They wouldn’t look up my order on anything but those.
How long has it been since you placed your order?
I was only in the rail yard for about 5 days waiting to get loaded on a truck for delivery. It was pretty quick.
Im guessing they’re either backed up with deliveries for your dealer or they’re waiting for a full truck load.
