As a prospective buyer this is a significant disappointment. I really like the Rebel, and it fits my use case. But having DRLs and tailights that are incadescent just makes no sense in this day and age. Surely, I would trade heated rear seats for that as I use my rear seats 20% of the time.
Hi guys,
There's not the just right choice for me as I look to order my truck so I've been rather OCD about deciding. After test driving the Limited and Rebel back to back... the Limited's power is addicting. The Rebel.. however, looks more like a rugged truck - I think largely because of...
I officially found the lowest Payload I have ever seen in existeence at 932!
The more you pay, the less utility you get... but yet this has all the trailer stuff!
Here's the window sticker:
Another thing that I realized is that if ordering a Limited, the Night package adds weight. I was surprised by this.
Once I have some time, I'll add other trims to this as well. It's nice to have real world data on the 2025 models and not hope to see a payload sticker on TFL Trucks or Truck King.
So I went crazy today. @AnthonyRI messaged me the following VIN lookup (have to put in the VIN after = sign in the address bar and then in the code there's Payload) address:

I proceeded to go...
I figured this out… there will be a massive post coming.. I went crazy and looked on the estore, got the VINs of various trucks and specs based on window sticker and found their payload. I’ve gone through a bunch of Rebels, a bunch of RHOs. NOw gonna do some Limited 6’4s and will post the...
This is super helpful. One of the interesting thigns was how Motor Trend got a Tradesman to do a 0-60 run in 4.8 secs compared to their Tungsten run of 4.4 secs. Speed is the lowest factor for me - but it speaks to how much weight is added to these trucks as you pile on the trim level and...
Thanks all, I feel like I've been living on this forum and the towing subforum as well as HDRams forum. It would be nice at soem point if someone at RAM make a calculator that helps determine payload when the truck is specified.
I may end up going with an open car trailer which is far less...
I am definitely a measure 3 times then cut person. As such, I've been researching what I need ad nauseum. I have a wild variability for what I need. Towing up to 7500 lbs (enclosed car hauler with up to 4k lb car - and very rarely an airstream 23'), some overlanding (no Moab level trails...
Nice. What is the listed payload of your truck? Since I'll be towing occasional 6000lb car haulers... I wanted to know what packages to keep off that hurt payload. I've been reading the ORG adds 180lbs (skid plates, suspension, tires). NOt sure how true that is though.
