I change my fuel filter every year just before winter, mainly to make sure there isn't any moisture in the system before the the temperatures drop below freezing. It's super easy to change, just a little messy.
Sounds believable.... I get around 30 during the summer months at 72 MPH flat highways with the 3.92 gears. I can get around 900 miles per 33 gallons of fuel which is the reason I bought the truck. It just sucks they won't be offering the EcoDiesel engine any longer.
FYI, my local Advanced Auto has pennzoil platinum euro in 5 quart jugs for $40 each. It's not shown on their website so you'll need to visit the store to find it.
I ordered my oil & filter from idparts last weekend and was informed this week that it may not ship until the end of April. I guess I'll use a generic filter available from Amazon for a few weeks and install the Mopar oil filter when it finally gets here.
I placed a gallon of diesel from the local truck stop in a clear plastic jug in my freezer at -15 F over the weekend and you could clearly see the paraffin wax cloud was about 25% of the total volume.

Nearly flat here on the Ohio & Indiana border. That drive was taken on July 4th with speeds in the lower 60s MPH and warm temps which seem to increase MPG.
That's almost the exact same MPG I get while driving Interstate 75 for 80 miles in Ohio each day commuting to and from work this time of year (winter is 4 MPG worse). My hand calculation is usually 1 MPG less than the computer calculation.
