So I pushed the cable down so that it is going straight down beneath the black piece. When the window opens now the cable goes under the black piece which looks like it's normal vs going above like it was doing.

Here is picture of when I close the window. You can see the tension in the cable before it finally pops loose after fully closing the window.

Long story short, the dealership finally diagnosed my water leak with a cracked rear window. They replaced the entire back glass. After inspecting the work that they did I noticed that the wire for the sliding glass will get stuck under the black piece and pop out when closing the window. Its...
