I wonder if if be better if just getting some Mopar lifters and putting them in for piece of mind hopefully before I sustain any cam damage if I haven't already.

It is a definite tick that is louder and isn't there until the engine warms up.
I wish I could post a video or audio of it.
It has 300 easy break in miles on it will no check engine light.
A lot of those miles are from when it was cold and then warmed up while driving, so I'm hoping if it is...
Thank you for the reply. Yes this tick only appears when the engine is at operating temperature. I have had an exhaust shops look at it and said it's not an exhaust leak, although I'm not convinced.
I just can't pinpoint where exactly the rick is or which side of the engine.
I just put a new reman 5.7 Hemi in my 2022 Ram 1500. It now has 300 miles in it. Since I first started it, it has ticked which I'm having a hard time discerning between lifter and exhaust.
I put BBK shorty headers on it, because of the notorious issues with stock manifolds, but they were junk...
Yeah that's my next course of action. Just kinda dumbfounded that it would be doing this when it was fine before having the battery disconnected for so long.
When I disconnected battery again and drained all capacitors the light didn't come back on until a couple miles down the road.
I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7. I had the battery out for about a month while I put a new motor in it. Now it is running and the washer fluid light is on even though it's full.
I know from research that Rain X is bad. I have seen a bunch of posts but none that explain the sensor being brand...
