I bought a set, but I'm waiting for weather weather and a cleaner truck before attempting install. Instructions say lenses had to be 60+°. I also need faster cutting time than conditions and need for truck will allow at the moment.

What size tubing did you use? I know we have different components, but maybe the breathers are the same size. Yes, the cap on the end of the breather is a very simple check valve. Definitely not guaranteed.

Yeah, the front breather is ridiculous! I want to work on this and any others that need it, but don't want to fight the cold.

The only time is say it might not be wanted is in icy conditions, as the aggressive downshifting may break the tires loose. That being said, it won't lock up the wheels as would happen with over braking. If course ABS should help prevent that.

I was looking at Cooper Discoverer AT3 tire size chart lady night. 295/70R18 is an inch bigger in diameter (34") as compared to 33" dia for stick 275/70R18. They should fit nicely. Not sure how much bigger than stick you want to go, but that's how I consider sizes.
