I’m happy with the way they turned out. LT285/55r22. The R/Ts are surprising quiet for having 18/32 of tread. Similar or slightly quieter than comparable Ridge Grapplers….so far so good!
That’s a great recommendation. Falken tires have come a long way…I like them. Ran a set of the AT3s on my work truck and they performed great. I bet the new generations are improved even more. I’m thinking about trying out the Falken RT01 on this one. The price for a set of 285/55/22s for the...
Set up our ‘23 the same way our old ‘19 was. Swapped factory coils and shocks for ORP coils and Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners. Front set to clip #5 with the ORP coils. Gained exactly 1” lift on rear and 3” lift on front as expected. Rides and looks great. I prefer the bilsteins to the factory...
Looks really good. I had similar suspension/tire size setup and a Ranch Hand full replacement front bumper on my 2019 Laramie. We just traded it in for a 2023 that’s a twin to yours. It looks good with the black grill guard! May have to consider one now that I’ve seen it…Thanks for the photos.
LT295/60R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed on Factory wheels to finally replace factory Falkens. Factory’s were at 4/32 or so with 31,000 miles on them. 2019 Laramie 4x4 ORG w/ Bilstein +1.5” on the front. No wheel spacers. Full clearance, no rub. Completely transformed the look of the truck...
Yes, I did torque it the best I could while the spring was still compressed. I think you would be fighting the force of the spring if you didn’t do that first. Have to use an Allen wrench to hold the shaft of the 5100 while tightening the New strut top nut. Then just periodically checked to make...
Just wanted to share my experiences with my 5100 install. It took me a little longer than expected, but all went well. I installed them at clip position #4 on my 2019 Laramie 4x4 with ORP. Got pretty close to 1.5” lift as advertised for this setting. I have a heavier ranch hand replacement...
So ironically enough mine fixed itself finally. I had been told they would all automatically re-sync with the truck after driving 20 miles or so. The first 3 synced up in about 10 miles. The right rear drivers side on (the 4th one) took 60 miles to finally stop showing 0 or 1 psi on the dash.
Yes, the benefit is exactly as stated above. If you use a spacer that fits on top of the strut assembly (top-hat), the entire assembly is then longer and can therefore possibly overextend the designed angle of the upper control arm ball joint at full droop, according to the popular belief. This...
Nothing is different, other than when you get a shock that raises the perch (like the bilstein 5100’s), the shock itself has different valving than the stock shocks do, so it’s likely they have tuned compression/rebound to make the ride a little less harsh given the increased preload on the...
