Thank you for all the replies. It just seemed abnormal to me, I'm glad it's just different. My wifes Cherokee 2.0 turbo warms up like my old hemi. So I had a mini freak out.
I'm not worried about a head or anything like that as I get regular oil analysis' done and my last one 3000 miles ago...
I have a 2022 Ram Rebel Ecodiesel. (original owner)
It's summer here in AZ and I just noticed that my engine oil and coolant temps warm up within 7 degrees of each other. I don't recall clearly but I am thinking this is new.
My other ram trucks it was coolant got up to operating temps first...
2022 Rebel 118500. Only the HPFP recall and 2 glow plugs. Oil analysis is with Amsoil 5w40 Max duty diesel oil. I don't use Euro crap because it soots up after 500 miles vs the actual diesel oil it's 3-5000 miles where it gets black from soot.
2022 Rebel with 3.92. I just hit 93K and the only issue I had was 1 glow plug burnt out. It's been the most reliable car or truck I have ever owned. I would buy another one if they still sold em new
