big issues, as mentioned, are the transmission and diff breathers, and engine intake. A snorkel could fix the intake (The whole "cold air intake" thing), but yeah, it'll tear up your car. I've heard the bow wave helps a bit, keeping water lower, but that was in a Tacoma. You also have to...
I'm digging that bumper too.
Long ago I had a Tacoma and dreams of overlanding with it. Now, with a 1500, that dream is mostly dead (making 2 kids didn't help that one ... til they're older ... ). But the lack of options for truck armor and whatnot is a bit depressing. Plus, it's just a big...

My first car was a '76 280z. I started driving it in 94, from my grandfather.
8 track didn't work, A/c didn't work, AM/FM didn't work ... but that straight 6 was great!
To the OP, I have a quad cab and get around 19mpg on highway, about 15-16 around town, same as my 2013 Ram 1500 quad cab...
I put "no problems," but I have had the squeaky brakes maybe 3 times. I've had the truck since November, have around 7K miles. So far the brakes don't bother me much, it's usually on cold mornings when backing out of my parking space, then not again on the drive. I attribute to frost or...
