There is a ton of information in that post
Next time I try towing I’m going to try some of the other settings (heavy electric etc ) to see if there is a difference or if there is some kind of short causing the issue
I did the truxedo sentry roll up tonneau and I’ve been happy with it for the last two years. It’s looks like a regular vinyl roll up but is reinforced with aluminum slats.
I’m also curious about running boards though. I don’t want to buy a set and have them rust and look like garbage
I have the same thing. 2020 big horn with power standard mirrors. I would also like to swap mine to power towing mirrors.
Currently I have snap on towing mirrors
Yeah I would imagine you fudge the tongue weight quite a bit if you weren’t going at a high rate of speed. But I wouldn’t do it on-road as it’s unpredictable when braking or turning
Everything I’ve read says the same thing. The 3.92 doesn’t seem to help with towing unless you are towing a heavy trailer that has a light tongue weight. And everything I’ve read on that says you don’t want a trailer with a (less than 10%) tongue weight at all :P
Do you mean a camper cap? It’s the same thing you have to do with anything on a 1/2 ton. Check your payload sticker In your doorframe. Then add up everything you want to add to the payload (people, items, camper cap and trailer tongue weight) and if you are under that payload number it should...
The 21bhe is the best option for us too. The Murphy bed gives a couch to use as more seating. It makes it comparable to much larger trailers
The only issues with that I see is the pass through storage isn’t that big (and I wish the ceiling was a bit taller )
