I'm in Germany and changed it right away. I'm not aware of any differences but I didn't carefully explore that. Mileage, Mph and Mpg is a seperated setting and not affected by Country Code. And you definitely can switch back and forth Country Code without issues.- Malte

Yes, that white-orange cable is the correct one. On the opposite side of the frame rail shown in your picture there is already a mouting point for ground.- Malte

Correct, after changing "Country Code" to "Germany" via JScan a rear fog indicator appears on the display when rear fog is active.- Malte
