DASM won’t take calibration after windshield replacement

Last update: Woke up this morning to bring the truck to the dealership for appointment, and with no explanation, the LKA and ACC were working as intended. I’m not sure how or why, but they are working. Like we always said in the military, it is “Foxtrot Mike” (F*&^ing Magic). Needless to...

DASM won’t take calibration after windshield replacement

**UPDATE** Went to Safelite today, and the technician attempted to re-calibrate. It failed again. He and his manager explained to me that my larger than stock tires were preventing the calibration from being successful. They told me my two options were 1) put stock wheels and tires on and...

DASM won’t take calibration after windshield replacement

I’m not sure if there were errors after replacing the windshield or not. I was inside while he was doing the work, and when I went outside to see how it was going, he already had his scan tool connected to the OBD port and was going through the process. At that time, I did notice the icons...

DASM won’t take calibration after windshield replacement

I had to get the windshield replaced on my 2021 Limited recently. Safelite came to my house and did it, pretty convenient since I work from home. Anyway, after the installation, the guy said he had to recalibrate. I had the air suspension in entry/exit just to make it a little easier for him...

Air ride and tire jack mode

Did your truck fix Itself? When I took mine in for it’s first oil change last weekend, the dealership didn’t put it in jack mode. The truck looked all kinds of crazy when they pulled it off the lift. In the 5 minutes or so I was inside getting the paperwork, the truck leveled itself without...

    2022 Toyota Tundra

TFL just did a new video on MPG comparison between the new Tundra and a F150 powerboost. Not exactly a fair comparison as the Powerboost is a hybrid and the Tundra is not. Will be curious to see how the Tundra hybrid compares Each truck towed 8100lbs for a 48.1 mile stretch. They recorded...

    Best speedometer recalibration tool

I can confirm the GPS does NOT recalibrate the the speedo. I need to get a tool for my 21. I went from factory 22s down to 295/70R18 and my speedo is off by about 5mph at highway speed compared to the GPS in my radar detector

    Lopsided RAM PLEASE HELP!

Like I mentioned earlier, my truck has a lean as well, as did my last several trucks. Not a big deal, but I installed revel links this afternoon on the front, and now the lean is more obvious. Strange how that works. I only lifted mine about 1”

    Window Tint match for factory?

Ceramic tint for the win. It makes a big difference. My truck is black on black, so I need all the help I can get during the summer. As others stated, pretty sure the back factory tint is 20%. I always pick the tint I want in the front, and tell them to match the back. In my case, I...
