So far, my truck has done everything I have asked of it with the V6 and 3.55. I am happy with the engine and it really does remind me of the 5.2 (318) Magnum V-8 that I had in my 99 Ram ST back in the day. (but with much better milage)
the thumbnail image of Jared's video kind of resembles a Quad Cab with a short box. 5'7 If so, that's interesting as the shorter wheelbase would be optimal in an a off road setting (for trails)
Nice truck, I like the color and performance hood. Glad you are liking the 12inch Uconnect. I have the 8.4 and think that is huge (vs. what I had in other trucks). I couldn't even imagine.
Sorry to hear about the 2 small tears in the leather. I am glad that our dogs ride in the cab and not the bed. I cant tell you how many dogs I see riding in beds of trucks without any crate or harness in TX. It makes me nervous when I see it.
If you have a snork and dip any computer component , you are screwed. I mean really screwed. I like snorks on old school vehicles but come on, I understand the cleaner air but is it really worth it on newer vehicles? They do look cool but any electric module hit by water is never a good...
I really liked these articles and want to revisit this thread.

I actually considered the Classic before getting my 5th gen. It was about 6k less for a nicely equipped truck with dealer discounts/incentives at the time. (Big Horn/Lone Star)
The Warlock might have won me over if they had one...
I read the car and driver article. It said the Warlock would come in quad or crew cab but only with the 5ft 7 in bed. I wasn't aware Ram made a Quad with anything shorter than a 6ft 4 in box. I wonder if that is a typo. A nice package !
My only wish at the moment and a minor one:
A longer turn signal stock by about 3/4 of an inch.
I feel like I have to "reach in" to activate it. It's a more deliberate motion than any other vehicle I have owned.
I watched the TFL video and the truck on the show didn't even come with a factory installed brake controller. For 97k, I'd expect it to have one. Somebody with 97k would probably want to tow their Harley's with their new truck. But no, you gotta add something on to the already ridiculous...
I engaged 4H for about 30 miles on a recent trip. I too smelled burning rubber when I first activated it. I have since used 4wd on a couple of occasions and the smell has not returned. Possibly a break in smell as TruckDriver mentioned. Very pleased with the 4wd system. It works great!
