2022 Ram and less dust in cab

Yes, it is ridiculous. My kids can't stand it either. I have a 2020 Megacab that doesn't leak since it has the older doors. The new 5th gens are bad but they are pretty much the only things on the lots where I am.

2022 Ram and less dust in cab

I was just really hoping the 22s had solved the problem since there has been numerous complaints on this issue.

2022 Ram and less dust in cab

Do you drive a lot of gravel? On my last one the service guy says it's hit or miss but the other 3 driven on gravel in my area all have troubles with it and one of the guys came from a Denali so wasn't impressed to say the least. It seems to me like the doors are just sealed poorly in the rear.

2022 Ram and less dust in cab

Hi I have had two 1500s, a 19 and a 20 and they both leak dust around the back doors very bad. On the Ram website it mentions a new filtration system and less dust. I am curious if this actually took care of the problem for gravel roads for any of you who have a 22 and frequently travel gravel...

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

It does matter the brand. I traded in 2019 GMC 2500 Denali with 27000 miles in the same conditions and backseat was great with no dust now everything is pure grit back there. The 2015, 2017, and 2018 Ford were not great but it was only a fine dust around the door handles. This is a serious...

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

Yes it is very frustrating. I paid to have mine detailed and it's all filthy again and all my hunting gear. After looking at my door I noticed both rear doors were poorly aligned and adjusted so they are fairly flush to see if they improved at all because the seals basically show all around...

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

I ended up getting mine and dealer sent me to their auto body shop and is going to do the same, pull all the back seat flooring up. It sounds like they have had to do a handful but told me no fix for all the dust holding around the door seal that creates the poof of dust when you open the door...

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

Thanks for that, I still haven't made it in. Have over 13k on it now and when it's dry and very windy it's pretty ridiculous in the cab. I bought a 20 Limited recently as well and I'm keeping that one on the pavement. Hopefully they get it figured out because I've never had it this dusty. Other...

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

No, seems to be good as far as moisture. It's just that fine dust finding it's way in at higher speeds on gravel. I guess it hasn't sat in the rain really either, a little driving thru it otherwise in the garage.

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

I haven't made it in to the dealer yet but the backseats are pretty bad at this point. Got some rain the last few days so a little relief.

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

Thanks I'll try that with a piece of paper. I'm also going to see if the service department has any fixes for it. My dad had one that was awful and at the same time his other one didn't have the problem one bit so there must be something to fix. Thanks

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

I just traded in a 19 Denali that had no issues over the last year with dust. The aluminum body Fords all leaked, had 3 of them but these are even worse.

    Dust leaking thru backdoors

Hi just started driving my 19 Ram on gravel for a week now and lot of dust leaking in 3 of my doors. You open the backdoors and a big poof of dust goes up and underneath the seat and on the seat is very dusty. Anybody have any fixes for this? TIA
