Yes, I was in between the edge pulsar and the diablo because I want to correct the tire size, I have the forward collision sensor on and wanted to see if I can deactivated (I don't care for it)
but the biggest thing is that I wanted the maximum hp performance that I could get and it seemed the...
Yeah, I see that now. I got a little carried away - I don't know why I was assuming the canned tunes were kind of designed for the particular vehicle.
What is the approx. $$$ for a custom tune?
Thanks
I just purchased the I3 Diablo, it arrives this Friday. anyone has experience on the best canned tuned?
Is 91 octane better than the "diablo tune"? ( I don't have 93 gas stations)
I ended up buying the Diablo I3 w/ PCM swap, it arrives on Wednesday.
It can help me with the tire correction but will help increasing HP too.
Ram pride.... can't lose this weekend off-roading to the Silverado, Jeep, GMC, F150, Hilux, Bronco in our group. My Ram won last time, they all did mods...
Beautiful truck! Looks great.
Thanks for the tip on the throttle calibration. I will try that today.
I like the the plug in Pulsar, I think I will def end up buying it, I just didn't have it in my budget so quick haha.
Do you mind sharing if it is really worth it, you did see the difference...
I haven't not yet, looking at Pulsar and other plug in Tuners that could do the recalibration and maybe some hp gains...
What do you recommend, how did you recalibrate yours?
Thanks
Sad after spending close to $400, Yes after spending more days with the mods, it does have to do a little bit with the hot air I think. Some days when it is not extremely hot , the truck's response feels better.
I really like the sound from the CAI and the muffler,
sound wise it is great, you are right.
Just wanted to pinpoint what could be to see if I could get that power back.
Hitting the dirt and dunes later this month and I usually race a silverado Long headers full exhaust , tuned. and I beat him...
I'm averaging 13, I used to avg 15-16mpg. Your comment makes me think about the change in the flow due to the CAI and the hot air.
I was also reading, it takes some time for the computer to adjust to these changes, we will see.
Thanks, I didn't thin my small tires were gonna hurt as much
