AAAHHH I just didn't like the look anymore, the only way I see to maintain geometry and have the stance that I want is a body lift, going to install this on the weekend. I will have a problem though, bumpers will have the 2 in gap, Not very concerned about front bumper, it will just hurry me up...
I have the same one, and I also thought I was getting 2. My visor actually came completely off, snapped the wires. This thing really works to make it operational again haha.
True, it's been hard to accept reality. I just really liked the stance, I think looks are important too, not as important as performance of course but that we are happy with what we drive.
You should! Just first, get your Sentry so you can cross the border in no time and avoid a 2 hr delay...
Excellent, once I dropped the psi to 15 I was actually running the majority in 2WD for fun.
They are heavy though, don't you think? But I really love them
This weekend was the Baja 250. I didn't go all the way to San Felipe to see the races because my intention this weekend was to actually put the new suspension to the test.
I did push the throttle on the whoops. Who's ever been to baja or seen the trophy trucks videos you've seen that even...
I'm running Toyos Mud Terrains 35s. They actually did adjust it and feels good now.
My tires keep rubbing something and I don't know what it is now because I checked and it is not touching the UCA at full turn.
Sometimes I feel the rub even before full turn, maybe half turn.
I was thinking it...
Took my truck back to the dealership service. They had performed my alignment on Monday, and today I was noticing my steering wheel pulling to the left to drive straight "smh".
I took it there on purpose, paying extra for a "great" service plus all my services have been made there. I was pissed...
FINALLY! I have installed the 8112s and Dirt King UCAs.
I also took the opportunity to paint my wheel liners and the shock tower and areas to make it look cleaner.
It took me the whole day, especially because I did not have all the equipment needed so I took trips to the store. Especially the...
Don't get me wrong, maybe I do have more body roll than a stock truck.
I did notice extra body roll when I added the 3 inch spacers to lift it up to 4'.
I guess I have gotten used to it now because I don't feel it at all.
Disconnecting the Sway bar really had no impact for me in the highway but...
Once I install the 8112 coilovers and DK UCAs I was planning on disconnecting the sway bar.
Well... I ended up disconnecting it this weekend to feel the body roll with stock coilovers and compare to new suspension. I also have a squeaking noise and I thought it was the links.
Turns out the noise...
Looks great.
Is it from Recon? How is it during day time?
I was very close on pulling the trigger on the strip bar but decided to go with regular 4 in lights.
