Curious if anyone has had this fixed or looked at lately, my dealer says they checked and there is no updates on it.

This is what I got at the dealer today, they wont look at it again until an 'official' fix is out. Consider yourself lucky I guess if your dealer will try to fix it .

The threaded portion is for older trucks that used a mechanical clutch type fan, its LH thread so good luck finding a nut to fit it :) Since the classic trucks share the same water pump and some use the mechanical fan its easier to have one water pump PN I guess.

Thanks for the info, see you found the other thread in exterior as well. Checked at a local dealer a couple weeks ago and several new trucks (laramies) were not working as well, would sure be nice if FCA put out a service message or TSB on it so dealers know how to fix it..
