Just an idea but do you have any family or friends living in the US that you could ship your stuff to, then have them ship it to you? Might be an easier way to get the parts you need delivered without flagging your order or even being delayed in transit.
The camera rest inside a bracket attached to the windshield and it has to be removed to replace the glass, so yes the installer is messing with it anytime they swap out the glass.

I can appreciate an open conversation about the recalibration but if you don't do the recalibration your sensors will be off until the vehicle recalibrates itself over time.
Why not just recal it after having the windshield replaced? What would the benefit be from waiting for the truck do it...
So this is my first post but I may be of some help here, I work for one of these big fancy glass places. The issue with recalibration is that the tablet we're using is going off factory settings and ride height to do the recalibration. They don't get paid if they don't do the recalibration...
If it keeps unplugging itself, then it definitely sounds like the latch part is broken. Mine had an intermittent issue cause it to disconnect but I took it all apart and
plugged it back in nice and snug, haven't had a problem with it since then.
