Just got my truck back from the dealer, they replaced both manifolds and some bolts and it's silent on a cold start now. Glad mine wasn't an engine issue along with a manifold issue. Fixed for now!
I had the classic cold start tick that I've had on several Ram 1500 and 2500 gas motors in the past. This one is on my 2019 1500 VVT/eTorque and it finally got bad enough that a co-worker asked me if my truck was OK. After listening to it from outside the truck on a cold start, I immediately...
I can have my dealer order/swap with any dealer in the country, all dealerships have this ability. If you have a local dealer that you trust, give em a shot.
If you fold the back seats up, there's a hook that's designed to hold plastic grocery bags right there. I'd hang a plastic bag there and dump it at each fill up.
Might not be as easy as being in the front but it's easy enough.
My 19 Laramie Sport has the same Hemi/392 gears, e Torque etc, truly stock and although basically brand new (2k miles), it gets basically the same mpg as my 17 2500 truck with the 6.4 gas motor. I can baby it and get 15mpg but this thing is just the same as the old truck. I've never bought a...
I have a similar issue on my driver's door, there are 2 spots very similar in size and shape. Mine is white and the truck is new. I noticed it almost immediately after bringing the truck home. I'm going to discuss it when I bring it in for it's first service.
I received the Husky floor mats for the front driver and passenger side of my 2019 Laramie yesterday. The fit was excellent with no gaps, the snaps were positive and secure. Thickness is excellent, they should be plenty durable. It's cool here weather wise so the flexibility isn't the best and...
I just ordered the Husky liners for the front. I've always used Weathertech and have had great luck but wanted to see the $100 difference.
Will install and check back with impression.
I appreciate all the comments, good or bad they all have merit. I've never had a vehicle since 1985 that didn't have a locking gas cap or door which is why I started the conversation.
With all the technology in these trucks and we have a non lockable fuel door? No chance to lock the fuel cap (since there isn't one) so when the ex wife is all pissed off, she can walk over to your truck, push the door to unlock it and pour sugar into your tank? Or the local teenager looking to...
