I have 2 AutoBoxes running (2021 Ram & 2023 Mazda) now. Both have been reliable as heck...once I found out to NOT connect/attach our phones through Bluetooth or the OEM app like Uconnect. I hope to not gonna jinx it, but I've gone weeks without an issue...connects every time.

With the poor FM reception, I am assuming it does NOT have "HD Radio" ???

I don't have a phone old enough that doesn't have IOS 16 on it to be able to test it, but Uconnect needs to get with it as IOS 16 came out in like June or something...

Yep...I tried IOS 16.1.2 also and no difference. If it is happening with multiple phones, cables and USB plugs...then it must be a software or hardware issue in the truck. I might have to take it to another dealer just to see what they say.

Hey KMach... I just read your post & I guess I missed that you mentioned "the high volume fade after 27 or so" like it is a normal thing. I am having this issue...the fade, clipping or weakness is only noticeable when the volume is up near 32 and above...but it is on all sources (FM, XM, etc)...

Ah...ok, so not to Uconnect. I believe that the phone wants to pair to Uconnect first, so maybe that is the issue.

I have had the AutoBox connected to my 2021 for about 6 months and every few days I need to unplug it and reconnect bluetooth...Do you (Or anyone else on here) have any issues like this? Thanks... Joe
