10j and 12j appear to refer to the width of the wheels (10” and 12”). I wasn’t familiar with that terminology before, but that’s what the Google Machine tells me.
I found a wiring diagram on the RAM-TRX forum. There are more diagrams there, so follow the link, but here's a list of pin numbers, colors, and functions.
@bushman77 Did you set up any other signal wires with your D Switch? In particular, have you set it up to dim the panel when your headlights are on? If so, how did you tap into your headlight wire? My understanding is, I'll need to tap into a wire rather than a fuse.
I'm looking to replace my...
This was four years ago, mind you, but yes, it really was that easy ordering my 2021 Longhorn from Mark Dodge.
I submitted my build sheet from the Ram site, they gave me a complete price, I added an affiliate (Tread Lightly) discount, and we locked it in with a $1,000 deposit. I was also able...
If you want a Limited or Longhorn without Rambox, you can get it with a 6’4” bed. Tungsten buyers are out of luck; it’s all 5’7”, all Rambox, all the time.
Plus, if you do that, then this really cool guy will solve your bed cover chaos! 🤪
Here’s info on the upcoming Tune M1L. $4,000 less expensive, 20% lighter, but it doesn’t have the flared sides and lighting (which is easy enough to do yourself), the standard cab-over is a foot shorter, and the width is a foot narrower.
Doesn’t go on sale until December.
Yep, definitely the roomiest of the lightweight (relatively speaking) campers. Hoping to get out this weekend for another quick trip.
Tune is now running this teaser. It looks to be similar to their M1, but without the flared sides. Of course, it’s the flared sides that make it roomy, but if...
Ha I knew when I posted about my camper you’d say the GFC is the perfect camper.
If I were running fast in the desert, I’d probably get a GFC too. But deserts are rare in the Southeast, and if I get to make one trip out west a year, I’m lucky.
But there is no “perfect camper” for everyone, as...
For full size trucks, they start at $14K ($13K for mid size). Add ons that I picked were glass passenger door, glass barn doors, king size bed extension, and Truma heater.
Pricey, but I think we’ll get a lot of use out of it.
Based on MSRP , the only way to get a sub-40K truck is a regular cab, 2WD. Ford and Chevy start around $38K and 39K. Ram doesn’t offer a 1500 regular cab, to the chagrin of a few.
Go to an extended or crew cab, and you’re above $40K, regardless of make. Toyota starts at $41K.
So yeah, it...
Oh also worth looking into is the Topo Toppers Rincon. It had a few things I liked better than the Tune, and vice versa. Overall, the Tune is the nicer camper, and that’s what won my wife over, but the Rincon has some advantages, including lower weight and price.
Perhaps the main thing that...
