I bought a Cobra RAD 450 Detector at one of the popular Freeway Gas Stations. Paid, if I remember $150, and have not been disappointed. It has taken me safely through more than one Radar situations. As someone said in this Forum "Depending on what you can afford......" could be your decision maker..
Thanks for the info. I do have an Android Smartphone but it uses Google to activate, as I understand. I'm real leery using Google Apps for anything. So I'm trying to stay with my GPS. I finally found the one cig lighter. :o) and used it for my long trip back home but had to shelve the radar...
