Well, You can add me to the list. My truck (7800 miles) is now sitting in the shop so they can “dig deeper” into the issue. The service manager stated that they believe it to be a transmission issue. We’ll see what happens.

Contact them and say your renewal is coming up and you’d like to price out packages. Decline their price. They’ll keep lowering the price until you bite.

Yep. True. I bought a demo Durango R/T with 6,000 miles on it. The bumper to bumper warranty started the day I bought it because it hasn’t been titled. This truck is likely a “buyers remorse” truck that was returned. I’d car fax it to be sure.

Be careful with demos. I had a demo 2014 Durango R/T with 6000 miles on it when I bought it. Got a great deal, or so I thought. The dealership beat the crap out of it. The suspension was all jacked up (worn parts, creaking all over). It was all under warranty but a pain in my ***.

Also.. just an FYI, Chrysler is claiming they are raising the price on the warranties on July 1. I haven’t seen to what though.

I personally got the 96 month Max Care for just the reason you listed...too many tech items to go wrong. If you’re looking to purchase a warranty, look at www.chryslerfactoryplans.com . My I told my dealer I would buy from them and he beat their price my last two vehicles. Never pay the dealer...
