I noticed that if you turn on the ACC while towing it automatically adjusts to the farthest away setting for the vehicle in front of you. This is a nice safety feature since we do need more distance to slow down. I haven't used it much while towing but it is definitely better than "regular"...
I purchased the AVS bug shield before I actually took delivery of the truck. I had to return it. The shield fit the contour of the hood but the holes were way off compared to the factory plugs. I would have needed to drill holes in the hood to use the shield ones or drill holes in the shield...
Yes, it controls the bed lighting and fog lamps. As of now my dial does not work to control the lights but fortunately it is stuck on auto so I'm good until I can get it repaired.
Was getting into my truck last night and slipped on the door nameplate (it was wet out). No damage to me but I get in the truck this morning and notice a bright light down on the left side. Get out and check and find that the cover for the headlight control is missing. Thinking I bumped it...
I have the eTorque and have been seeing it since day 1. It will come on even in acceleration (light acceleration) and when coasting. I haven't seen it much on the highway, maybe up to 65mph. I would assume it is on when the MDS is activated as I feel a drag when it is on and a pitch change...
I only have 1,200 on my 19. 5.7, etorque, 3.92 and I do notice that the mileage is 14-15 city which is most of my drive. It definitely slows with a noticeable pull and does not hunt for gears. I see it in 7-8 at 45 mph all the time. Makes me wish it had the 10 speed in it lol.
Just changed mine at 1,100 miles over the weekend. Wanted to do it at 1,000 but wasn't feasible. Part of the reason was to get the original "break in" oil out and the other was to put synthetic in. I have been using Mobil 1 for years. I pick it up at Costco a couple times a year for $10 off...
My 2008 Silverado with the 5.3L and active fuel management gets 16.7 mixed city/highway 3.73 gear ratio and I drive like a grandma. My wife's 2017 Durango with the Hemi is getting 16.3 mostly city and my 2016 Chevy SS with MT and 6.2L barely breaks 18 in mixed city/hwy. I expect the RAM to be...
Well this makes me feel better I guess. Downloaded BOTS this morning and searched through build, KZ status and delivered. Mine was ordered 9/17, built 10/8 and has been sitting in the yard since 10/22. I've seen orders made after mine being delivered already but a few who ordered before me...
I'm sorry that he wasn't able to give you a better deal. There was a guy on here that was advertising the CDI vouchers and that he could get them. Otherwise, if you know anyone in management at FCA, they may be able to get you one.
