    Thank you for the assistance. Purchased the tools needed, it was still a little bit of a PITA to get off, put much easier for sure. Took about 10 minutes to get it hooked up and put back together. Came out perfectly, no broken parts, no gaps, and super clean and functioning perfectly. Sent...

    how did you disassemble the plastic housing behind the mirror? I can't find anything on how to get it down. I've taken off the center section, but the "U" shaped piece I can't get off. I'm afraid that I'm going to break it. Does it slide down the window? Do I need to pull or snap something...
