All signs point to yes. Not saying it didn’t error out for some reason but he obviously just shut it down and didn’t try. Unfortunate, but I won’t go back there.
Quick post to follow up on my adventure. I'll annotate this in the other TBC thread as well since I sort of hijacked that one as well with my drama. I ended up taking the truck to a second dealer after the first did not seem open to continuing to try and proxy align after installing the TBC...
Quick post to follow up on my adventure. I'll annotate this in the other TBC thread as well since I sort of hijacked that one with my drama. I ended up taking the truck to a second dealer after the first did not seem open to continuing to try and proxy align after installing the TBC and switch...
Interesting. I'll relay it next time I bring it in, but that was his main argument in me not having all the required materials (the wiring) even though...we can see that I do. Was that it would not proxy align. Thanks for the info!

I feel bad hijacking this thread, but I hope this mess helps someone once we come to a conclusion. Per service (after I asked for clarification, on what is needed, sent pictures of my harness and the kit instructions showing wire placement)....
"the sales code was added properly and the...
@Cbty2050 i did my best to grab a pic of the connector pins that are present. Please note where my hand is, is the end where the wires enter. I can’t tell from the kit instruction snippet what end it refers to, other than the view is from wire insertion side. But if I’m looking at it...
Thank you. I'm going to get back there today or tomorrow and take a look and will try to grab a photo and also get some clarification from the tech.
Edit: Unfortunately received a notification from the dealership I'd ordered through online and the part is not actually available. Showing...
