It's fun. I like the noise. Seems to smooth out the power band when driving. Does it add horsepower .. no clue. Does it add MPG .. doubt it. Do I like it, Yup.. am I glad I did it .. Yup. Do I feel like the truck is more responsive, yup .. Do I think it's worth it .. I do.
Install was easy, PB Blaster and swivel bit for the impact gun made it much easier. I work slow, but was done and cleaned up in 30 minutes. I did not buy the Mopar step. I got the Oner one off amazon for $99.
@dannymcd Thank you for this, it gave me some confidence to try it. I don't really comprehend wiring but was able to fumble my way through this! Thank you very much for taking the time to figure it out and post this guide.
I am not sure if it was the light or the harness that went bad on one of the lights, but when I pulled it out the whole thing was saturated with water (it did rain by me). I contacted them, and they wanted me to troubleshoot the harness and the lights moving them around from one light to...
Pulled out the Diode Dynamics Elite Foglights, put the stocks back in with Lasfit bulbs. The Elite series failed after two days. So aggravating, I had high hopes for them. Thankfully, it is a quick job !
