Yes, 174921-1 is the connector itself used for all the speakers while 174463-3 is 2 pin version used for the tweeters. Tweeters are 68043031AC, and 3.5" speakers are 68584767AA
The factory speakers should have part number 174921-1. There are 3 pin versions for speakers and 2 pin version for the tweeters. 174463-3 for the 2 pin.
Fresh retainer clips can hold on very well. It is scary pulling up on them when you aren't 100% sure you didn't miss a screw somewhere. Those speaker grills are always held in with retainer clips and if there are some screws they are under the grill and have no effect on the trim piece.
That's an amp issue in my opinion. Probably an issue with the amp booting up when the amp is "cold". Once the radio sees an issue it restarts itself. This is enough time for the amp to warm up and work correctly after the radio reboot. I'd start by debugging the amp at an audio shop or...
The 19 uses analog camera. Fakras are typically used for digital cameras. I'd just repair the connector. Its not hard. That looks like connector 54241030. Attached the pinout as a pdf. The camera connector you also mentioned is damaged. Is that the 8 pin black connector or a 6 pin white...
The best thing to do is to get the same part number radio. Once you pull the unit out, there will be a sticker on the radio which will have the part number. Getting the same part number will allow for the features your vehicle has to work on the new radio unit.
You can also send your radio to...
Uconnect 4 12" screens do NOT work with Uconnect 5 modules.
The screen will turn on but you will have no touch functionality.
There was a change in how the screen handles touch via the digitizer. We have experimented with it in length.
Save you money and buy it all at once when ready.
If you only hear sound when touching the screen and soon as you lift your finger the sound stops, this is an acclimation issue. Did the vehicle loose power for an extended period of time or was the radio upgraded or swapped to another unit? If yes then just give the vehicle 24-48 hours for the...
I believe this happens in DS trucks. The vehicle is sending the USB hub type incorrectly to the new radio. You need something to change that signal to allow for it to work. We didn't include this fix for the 19-24 UC5 radio upgrades but 13-18 UC5 have a Genie Max that forces that signal so the...
This issue and others like it are very common when the vehicle's radio looses power. The vehicle needs to re-acclimate to the radio after that kind of power loss. This can take a few minutes up to 48 hours. Best thing to do is a bunch of sleep cycles to help the acclimation along.
I was thinking LVDS cable or LCD failure. These LVDS cables come in two flavors. Panasonic and Harmon cables. They aren't interchangeable as the pin out is different. One is one to on pinout on both ends. Other swaps pins 1 with 2 and 3 with 4. Glad you got it working!
It shouldn't. Send me clearer pictures of that connector and its location and I'll tell you what its for. But for Air Bag, anything the air bag system goes through has a Yellow connector. Both connectors that plug into the Air Bag Control Module are Yellow.
Check Fuse 28, 10A fuse. FUSED...
You'll need to go into Dealer Mode on the radio then go to System Information and get your radio's Application number. This is the software you can update on the radio.
To put the system into ‘Dealer Mode’, Hold the Driver Side Temp Up and Temp Down and Front Defrost buttons down at the same...
