Yeah, website says 20" rims minimum, I'd like to get these for my truck, but I only have 18" Fuel rims, not sure they will clear. Has anyone tried these on their truck with 18" rims?
I just saw the same bubbling on my hood also. No chipping or cracking on mine either. I have 93,000 miles on mine. I didn't know our hoods where aluminum, but that makes sense. That sucks, looks like I'll have to look into getting an aftermarket hood eventually.
I just completed building a custom intake for my truck. Since no one makes an aftermarket intake for the Harrop supercharger system. Parts from K&N, Afe, part of a stock air tube, custom reducer, an upgraded 95mm throttle body and adaptor plate (that I had to modify to get to work with a 95mm...
I had the Alpine system, and the amp is located under the driver's seat. I didn't have to pull my driver's seat out, just moved it up as far as it would go and tapped into the wiring. It was a pain, but you can do it.
I've had my dumps on since 2019 and still don't have any issues. I know you're supposed to have back pressure in your exhaust system but that's the first time I've heard of damaging an engine from lack of back pressure.
When I hooked up my LC2i I tapped into the wires under the driver's seat by the factory amp. I think I tapped into the rear speakers. I never had any problems with signal.
Yeah, I see Waterfowler41 used those in his truck. They look pretty good. I just like the round ones a little better but might be changing them if I continue to have this problem. I messed around with the relay/wiring and now the lights are staying on with no blinking. So, I'll give it some time...
I just tapped into it and used the factory amp for all the other speakers in the truck, till this year when I upgraded everything (amps/speakers). Pulled out the factory amp and replaced it with a JL Audio VX800/8i.
I never noticed any difference when I removed the ANC in my truck. But I have a Rebel and I'm sure it's noisier than the regular trucks. Disconnect it and drive around and see if you can tell the difference.
