We finally got the email yesterday saying our Limited went into production, with an estimated delivery date of 11/14/24. It's crazy that this process takes so long, especially since we ordered it in April but we'll be happy to get it just the same.

For those of us waiting on a custom build, later may be better, especially after the latest article regarding the SHAP plant quality problems for the 1500. I'm glad it didn't turn out worse for you. It's crazy that they would build something that could leave you dead in the middle of the road. That's why I went with the Shiftpower USA unit for my Challenger. Plus, I can tune and lock/unlock my gas pedal with it using the phone app.

I think we're all just holding our breath at this point. I did see that the new Limited that showed up at the high-end was only 300 away from my VIN. That doesn't mean anything since they don't build sequentially but it gives me hope, lol.

I'm not sure how long it will take as this is my first custom order of any kind. From what people have been saying here it's likely going to be dependent on parts availability for the higher equipment group. As you said, perhaps the experts can chime in.

Yay, got a VIN assigned this morning! Baby steps are still steps :)

There have been several mentions of a production "pause" in May. I'm not sure why but I'm hoping inventory levels and any necessary production line tooling will be taken care of during this break so our trucks can start getting built.

I'm hoping your limited gets built too, since I ordered one as well. Maybe if they get enough orders they will expedite it (wishful thinking but I'll take what I can get) 😎

I hope they get it sorted sooner rather than later. We initially wanted the Laramie but it wasn't available in the color and options we wanted, so that pushed us up to the Limited. I'm sure this was by design, and if so one would think that those upsold orders would get preferential treatment...
