    Air Suspension Woes

If you have the means to do the nitrogen fill, I personally would give it a go before replacing the compressor. I'm not a mechanic or engineer, but my understanding is that the compressor will stop itself to cool off long before it'll fill the whole system. I could be wrong about that, but I've...

    Air Suspension Woes

I just changed my compressor out, and those are the same as the fittings that came with my new compressor. I only had one leaky connection, so I used the new connection for the leaky one, and reused all the old ones since I wasn't changing the lines. It took care of my leak. The fittings do just...

    Air Suspension Woes

Sam Ash=musical instrument guy by chance? kapinallinen2 covered the connector issue a bit in the following post (the second in the thread): https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/2019-rebel-air-suspension.62224/ They advise that you don't reuse the lines if you replace the fitting. I went...

    Possible air suspension issue

Just based on the codes maybe check the ride height sensors starting with the rear left. Sometimes the connections get dirty and malfunction. You can check their function using a multi-meter, which you can see in the following video around 8:15ish: Next it might be worth checking for a leak...

    2019 Rebel Air Suspension

Hopefully that takes care of it. Compressor install was pretty easy. Made a new post on it just in case anyone needs the process laid out in the future. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/air-suspension-compressor-replacement.62596/

    Air Suspension Compressor Replacement

Now, you're ready to install the new compressor. A couple notes: Another user here found the recommendation from Ram that unless you change the air lines as well, you probably shouldn't use the new fittings that come with the compressor. I followed this guideline except for the reservoir line...

    Air Suspension Compressor Replacement

Just replaced the suspension compressor in my 2019 Limited and took some pictures along the way. I've posted parts of this in a few other places here, but figured a step by step guide could be useful since I've seen a lot of other people on here lately dealing with air suspension issues. I am...

    2019 Rebel Air Suspension

My symptoms were similar, the front left started sagging. Replaced the front shocks/bags and it still would purge the air after being fine for a couple days. Thought it was a bad ECU/sending unit on the compressor and turns out I just missed that leak that I posted a picture of above. If you're...

    2019 Rebel Air Suspension

Alright, everything came off easy on the old compressor, but there are two plastic fittings for the exhaust hose which are supposed to attach to the new compressor where I've highlighted below. The fitting has a tube shape on the side that goes into the compressor, and a 3/8ths barbed fitting...

    2019 Rebel Air Suspension

Well, I took a couple pics of pulling the lines off the compressor but they didn't save for whatever reason. But the fittings just loosen with a 13mm open ended wrench. I will snap more pics as I continue with the install. I had put UV dye in my system to try and find the leak and probably...

    2019 Rebel Air Suspension

I might not get around to the install until tomorrow or Sunday but I'll take some pics along the way.

    2021 Ram Air Suspension Issue

Yeah. It'll be fine for a couple days, but then I'll go outside and either the rear or the whole truck will have dropped to entry/exit level. When I open a door the system kicks out the rest of the air (can hear it venting out). I still need to test the ride height sensors, but got a great deal...

    2019 Rebel Air Suspension

Interesting. I just picked up a new compressor yesterday and it comes with all the fittings, but at this point I'd rather reuse the originals than replace the lines.

    2021 Ram Air Suspension Issue

I've been having an ongoing issue myself, with no clear answers. The issue went away for a while after I replaced the front shocks/air bags but now it'll hold nitrogen for a couple days then arbitrarily decide to spit out all the nitrogen. The air bags, lines, and fittings all show no signs of...

    Air Suspension Help- 2019 Limited

Lower to entry/exit mode before fixing it. It puts the air in the reserve tanks at the back of the truck. If you have enough air in the system to raise to all the height levels you shouldn't need to worry about a recharge, although may be worth considering if you're in a colder climate.
