Thanks. I'm familiar with Mark Dodge. I did a fly-n-drive to Koons when I bought the 2021.
It seems that Mark has overtaken Koons in online sales.
I'm keeping the 2021 for the time being.
The dealer just called and said the driver's exhaust manifold is in fact cracked. It will be replaced under the powertrain warranty. Curiously, he said it's covered because it's a 4X4. He said had it been 2WD, it wouldn't be covered. Makes no sense to me but I'm just the messenger.
I priced...
It is a Hemi, non-eTorque truck. It's at the dealer now for a ticking sound that I'm hoping is just an exhaust leak. But with only three months of factory powertrain warranty remaining, I wanted to get on record, in case this progresses further. I've read that cam and/or lifter issues are not...
Thanks. I really know absolutely nothing about extended warranties. I've never bought one on any car I've ever owned.
Plugging some quick numbers into that Zeigler site came up with $3230 for the Extended Care Premium with a $200 deductible for 3 YEARS/36,000 MILES.
I have zero clue how...
I'm sure these warranties have been discussed on this forum ad nauseum but I know nothing about them.
Is there a master thread somewhere that discusses how much one should pay for these warranties and whom to buy from?
The local dealer where I have the truck serviced (I didn't buy the...
I've got a 2021 Laramie with 39K miles. I'm getting close to the end of the five year drivetrain warranty.
I'm not sure how many of you are driving 2026's but I'm contemplating ordering a 2026 Laramie. I'm just curious what's actually changed or improved?
I have an AAWirless adapter, so...
BUMP:
Has anyone used a tent in a Rambox bed? Any recommendations?
I'm contemplating a trip and would need to camp for about a week. I doubt I'd use it much after this trip, so I'm not looking for very costly solutions.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks. I was familiar with that TSB but it specifies it's for "fleet or severe/extreme duty vehicles" driven in "continuous dusty driving conditions."
In other words, it doesn't seem directed at the masses who have experienced refueling issues who drive in "normal conditions."
Annual update:
I was on a $60 "promotional" plan, which came to $79.40 annually after fees and taxes.
I contacted XM via Chat and said I'd like to renew at the current rate or cancel. They claimed to have shifted to a monthly plan of $7.98, inclusive of taxes and fees, which equates to...
I just got my truck back from having the 33 gallon tank replaced. I drove straight to a 7-11 where I previously couldn't refuel for more than three seconds without the safety engaging.
I'm happy to report that I was able to refuel with no issue. It's a little disconcerting to read that...
Partial update:
I had my service appointment this morning for my 2021 Laramie with the 33 gallon tank. I already have it back. It was quickly diagnosed as having the faulty check valve (rollover valve?), consistent with the Service Bulletin on this issue. They are ordering a replacement...
I've still got a few months of warranty remaining but when I spoke with the service writer on the phone, he was well aware of the issue. He claimed on the 2021's (mine is a 2021) they typically replace the filler neck or the tank.
It's going in for diagnosis on Monday.
