Thanks. I was familiar with that TSB but it specifies it's for "fleet or severe/extreme duty vehicles" driven in "continuous dusty driving conditions."
In other words, it doesn't seem directed at the masses who have experienced refueling issues who drive in "normal conditions."
Annual update:
I was on a $60 "promotional" plan, which came to $79.40 annually after fees and taxes.
I contacted XM via Chat and said I'd like to renew at the current rate or cancel. They claimed to have shifted to a monthly plan of $7.98, inclusive of taxes and fees, which equates to...
I just got my truck back from having the 33 gallon tank replaced. I drove straight to a 7-11 where I previously couldn't refuel for more than three seconds without the safety engaging.
I'm happy to report that I was able to refuel with no issue. It's a little disconcerting to read that...
Partial update:
I had my service appointment this morning for my 2021 Laramie with the 33 gallon tank. I already have it back. It was quickly diagnosed as having the faulty check valve (rollover valve?), consistent with the Service Bulletin on this issue. They are ordering a replacement...
I've still got a few months of warranty remaining but when I spoke with the service writer on the phone, he was well aware of the issue. He claimed on the 2021's (mine is a 2021) they typically replace the filler neck or the tank.
It's going in for diagnosis on Monday.
I've had to reschedule for a few days later but RamCares has intervened and Ram has agreed to provide reimbursement for a rental.
Thanks to RamCares for stepping up.
Gents, sorry for not wanting to dig through 348 prior posts but is there a Reader's Digest version of how to go about addressing this with the dealer? I've had my 2021 Laramie with the 33 gallon tank for just under three years. I've got a couple of months remaining on my bumper-to-bumper...
Is this really the situation? I have a 2021 with the 8.4" screen. I haven't had any NAV updates done that aren't over-the-air. There is a new road near my home that isn't in the current database (it is in Google/Waze maps).
Do we need to bring these to the dealer for nav database updates?
This really is a frustrating issue. It had gotten so bad, I rarely connect the phone via USB cable. But yesterday, I had a long drive and really needed to use Waze.
Sometimes Android Auto is stable for hours. Other times, it drops out repeatedly over the course of several minutes...
UPDATE BUMP
FYI: I had the $60 + fees "promotional" annual package (about $77 total). I received a bill in the mail advising that my promotional package was near expiration and I would be billed $17.99 + fess ($21.84/month) moving forward.
I simply went to the SiriusXM site, started a chat...
