As hard as it was after reading about all the possible things that can go wrong with my new ‘20 Limited, I passed on the extended warranty. It’s not because I’m reckless or “feeling lucky”; rather, I feel like (if I had bought it) i would’ve paid a lot of money up front for something that still just MIGHT happen. Let’s say I need a new transmission at 60,001 miles, I’d rather have that $4000 of warranty money in the stock market and have $8000 in my account 5 years from now. To each his own though.
