Leave it Ram. It's one of the best things about Ram - its uniqueness in the American auto industry in that it's the only brand that is just trucks. That's a wonderful distinction that anyone who owns a Ram should be proud of.
.
Dodge is Dodge, Ram is Ram, they are both very strong brands. Let...

Very nice! 👍 It's a beautiful truck.
.
How is it received by the locals? Do they like it? Or hate it because it's a big American vehicle?
.
Either way, beautiful rig, enjoy the heck out of it!

If you're on no worse than dirt tracks in the forest, the four-corner air suspension is fine. If you do serious off-roading, i.e. lots of deep ruts, rocks and washboard, you probably should not order Ram's air suspension.
.
It's a great system for towing, and for pavement and relatively decent...
.
I agree, it will fit a decent percentage of most owners' use-cases.
.
I do, however HATE that Ram is calling it an "REEV" for "range-extended EV". The acronym everyone else has used for years, EREV (extended-range EV), makes more sense linguistically and it also rolls off the tongue easier.

.
I'm hoping that Ram taking its sweet time to get this EREV truck into dealerships means they will get more of the bugs worked out before the public gets hold of it.
.
If this truck ends up with "do not park inside" warnings and lots of warranty work like the Jeep 4xE and the Pacifica minivan...

You might be right, but I don't care about the portions of the tail lights that wrap into the tailgate. If the structure is the same, which I'm pretty sure it is, and the new electrical architecture is designed for the same sensors & latches as are in the original MFT, I'm thinking there is a...
.
In the case of Ram Box, which I would also definitely order., I don't think the separate brackets are necessary. I believe the mods inherent to the Ram Box's bed structure obviates the need for the brackets like a regular bed requires with MFT.
.
.
Yeah, I'm really hoping the EREV truck will have MFT (multi-function tailgate) as an option. But in case not, I'm prepared to buy the Ram EREV in the same color as my current 2020 truck with MFT and swap out the tailgates before I sell the 2020. I know a Ram dealership mechanic, before I do...

This interview of Tim Kuniskis by Andre Smirnov of TFL Truck talks about the EREV in two places:
.

.
It's a good interview, worth watching the whole thing, but if you just want to know what Tim Kuniskis says about electrification, those two spots are it.

You should be able to tell by looking at the current DT 1500's max advertised payload compared to your Limited, and whatever that difference is, subtract it from the stated max payload of the REV. The weight added (and payload subtracted) will be very close on the REV as it is for current DT...
.
I highly doubt it. But you can tell for sure on Ram's Build & Price website. Configure it with the 6'4" bed, then choose Ram Box option and see if it changes from 6'4" bed down to 5'7" bed.

I hope you're right. I also hope Ram is taking its sweet time in order to make the REV EREV a high-quality launch and a reliable product. A lot of people love their Jeep 4xE vehicles, but frankly, the 4xEs have had a lot of recalls, some for fire hazards, and they've also been beset with user...
Same here, the proposed Ramcharger (now REV) fits my use-case perfectly. I signed up for the original REV and the original Ramcharger "early adopters" place-keeper at Ram, but I've never heard a peep from Ram after signing up.
.
At this point, given that Ram has been totally silent on the "REV"...
