I have a 2022 Crew cab Bighorn with the 6'4" bed. My payload is 1601 lbs. I weighed the truck with my family in it and a few odd and ends in the bed and it came out to be 6400 lbs. Front axle 3600 and rear 2800. This was before hooking up the trailer and loading the bed for trips. The rear...
Went with a 2026 Ram 3500, 6.4 Hemi with 4.10 gears, long bed and 50 gallon tank. This should do well for a while. The 100/10yr warranty makes me feel pretty good about the choice. This is a factory order, I hope it's here by June.
Well guys, thanks for the information but I've decided to get a bigger truck. We take a long trip every summer and plan to keep doing it for the forseeable future. You are right about the payload games and the gas tank. On the last trip we almost ran out of gas coming through Texas. To...
I'm planning a long family trip next summer out west. It will include a run from Florida out to the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, up to Yellowstone and then to Mt Rushmore. I have a 2022 1500 with a 5.7 and 3.21 gears. I tow a 30' Jayco travel trailer that weighs around 7300#s loaded. I...
I have a Jayco 261bhs that has a tongue weight of 710 dry. My actual loaded tongue weight is around 1000 give or take, depending on if I have a full water tank. I have added HD springs and Timber Grove airbags. These have allowed me to connect with no rear end squat. I am over my payload of...
Installed the 351-893hd springs today on my 22 Bighorn. Install is pretty easily done in the driveway. It takes longer to gather the tools and jack up the truck than it does to put them in. Rides great unloaded but haven't tried loaded yet. Gained 1 inch as expected and it isn't really...
Tried a new drive and same result. Every time truck is restarted, it restarts with shuffle off. It's just part of the ritual now. Stop start off, gear selector to 8 and shuffle after Uconnect is done booting up. oh well.
I also run a flash drive and wonder, is it normal for the shuffle to turn off every time you restart the truck. I had a few Challengers with Uconnect 4 and they would stay in whatever setting it was left in last, but the Ram always goes back to playing songs in order. It's a 22 with 8.4"...
Mine too, and the shuffle never stays on so I have to choose that again every time the truck is restarted. Uconnect 4 in my Challengers didn't do that.
Yes
EDIT. I was able to change a few of the settings but am now getting the following message on others-Cust.Prog.Features- Passive Entry Unlock All Doors or Approach Door- ENABLED
The option is not supported by the body computer modification. Then at the bottom, the message -Failed. Wrong...
