Here's how screwed up the system is. I received that same $1500 email from RAM (or was it?) that had a dealers name embedded at the top, a dealer that I have been talking to about one of their 1500s. I forwarded the email and an offer on the truck in question, but they came back saying that...
The $2k private offer and the 10% off MSRP were indeed mutually exclusive. A dealer sent me the document that describes what can and cannot be combined. As RAM Cares describes, the private offer could be combined with some other non-standalone offers like military, etc., but that would be...
In an email first, but a regular mailing came a few days later. Had a redemption code tied to my name. It actually says you can combine it with most public offers. Certainly that would include the big national 10% off incentive.
Everything expires tonight. Maybe a better set of offers will...
Ya got that right! What is the point of private offers and nationally advertised incentives at the same time if they can't be combined? My private offer says nothing about not being able to be combined. Of course not. That would me no sense.
I've been in negotiations with a couple of out of...
I had a look at the Jeep suggested above to see what the Jeep version of forged blue looks like. Looks to be between blue and grey. Not for me.
For laughs I went back and tried to build various versions of Limited, Laramie, and Longhorn, but can't get a color I like with wheels I like with...
Yes of course. That's why I said the offers were 10% off and $4000 cash OR 4.9% APR.
Except for the extra $4000 cash was for those IN California.
True, but not being a lawyer (nor, I submit, are most who visit the website) I wouldn't be able to decipher it. Perhaps deliberately misleading to...
Am I the only one totally confused about the current set of national incentives RAM has until the end of the month.
Go on the RAM trucks website to build/price a 2023. You'll see the 10% off MSRP that has been running for quite a while. You will (may?) also see two additional offers, $4000...
The only place I have seen it was the on RAM build website, granted not the most accurate representation. There it looked quite a bit darker than Patriot blue. Is there another place to see it that would be better?
So much I don't like about the '25. Don't like the grill, the 22" wheels, the lack of Patriot Blue, mandatory RamBox and 3.92 rear end on some trims.
How late can I order a 2024?
Some RAM incentives expired yesterday, like $4000 off or 3.9% financing on 2023s or 2024s sitting on a lot. I saw that they were to expire, but expected them to be replaced with something else, probably bigger since sales are not great right now.
Not!
Though the 10% off MSRP remains, the...
So I went the siphon way. Sucked out all I could, refilled with water, rinse and repeat like 6 times until it was perfectly clear. Double checked the coolant to make sure it was orange. It (still) is.
So I think crisis averted.
Thanks for tuning in and helping me out.
I peered down in the reservoir and I think it might all still be in there. I'm going to try siphoning as you suggest and hopefully I can get nearly all of it.
Being washer fluid, it has some antifreeze in it, so maybe not too much of a problem.
I put a half a gallon of washer fluid in the coolant overflow, drove it 20 minutes.
Don't worry?
Drain and refill cooling system?
Flush cooling system?
