My PPE transmission pan: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Quick update: I felt like I had under-filled the transmission a bit while trying to work around the hot exhaust and race against the transmission temp clock. After driving it for about 750 miles I parked the truck on a slight incline, chocked the front wheels, jacked up the rear of the truck...

My PPE transmission pan: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I finally found some time to do the pan and fluid swap. For context, my truck is a 5.7 without e-torque. I realize the thread originated in the EcoDiesel-specific section, but this is the most consistent thread about the PPE pan that I could find on the site. Prior to the pan swap and fluid...

Eibach pro truck stage 2 R

You posted this at exactly the time I was starting to look into replacing suspension components on my '19. I don't think the factory setup is worn out yet but I'd like to swap for something nicer before they start causing issues. Have you towed with the 2R kit yet? My current boat is only ~3k...

I try my hardest to not use Amazon for things if I can. Military/First Responder discount link is at the bottom of their page. Comes out to $288 wheras Amazon is $296. (y)

My PPE transmission pan: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Thanks! I have some leftover 4x4's from another project so adding a cheap bottle jack should do the trick. My driveway slope is noticeable but nothing crazy, so I think just lifting the rear a couple inches should make it level enough to properly fill.

My PPE transmission pan: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I know this is an old thread, but just purchased the +2qt PPE pan, two gaskets (straight from Mopar), and 7 quarts of ZF Lifeguard Fluid 8 and planning to do the pan swap one of the upcoming weekends. I chose the best price I could find for most of the parts including finding a deal straight...
