I installed the Magna Flow Catback. Great sound but not overpowering

I'm having the same issue here in Ontario. I want to go 22x10 with some 305/45 Nitto 420S but everyone is telling me I have to go 22x9 (Rebel with Air Ride). I want to keep the suspension stock.

Anyone running 20x10 wheels on their 2019 Rebel with air Ride? I was at my local performance shop and they said I can only go 20x9?
