I install windshields, and yes, it does not need calibration. We have learned that if we do not unhook the mirror assembly (just let it hang) and also do not turn the key on while doing the installation, everything is fine. The vehicle does not know that it has been replaced.

Can you hook up a booster battery to the terminals, then unhook your old battery, install new battery and unhook booster batter from cables..?? Thanks in advance. Gordon
