Am considering a new Ford Hybrid??

Ford’s towing numbers are such a joke. They make the truck lighter with aluminum to bring down the weight of the truck so they can bump up their payload and towing numbers. But then towing anything heavy with them is a worse experience because the truck is lighter. That being said I owned a...

    Pirelli AT’s: 34” and 48lb

Those scorpion at+ are a really nice tire. Aggressive looking, have the 3peak snow rating and are very quiet. I had them on my 1 ton for a while last year. Only sold them because they were a package set with some wheels I decided I didn’t like

OT USE OF DEADLY FORCE DISCUSSION - How to TRY and prevent our trucks from being stolen

I meant if you know it’s someone trying to steal your truck. Of course you’re not going to call 911 every time you hear a noise outside.

OT USE OF DEADLY FORCE DISCUSSION - How to TRY and prevent our trucks from being stolen

I’d hate so see anyone get themselves killed or in trouble trying to protect their truck. It’s not worth it at all. IMO stay in your house, protect yourself, and call 911. Let the police and the insurance companies do their job. Having to shop for a new truck is better than being dead, injured...

LT vs XL (or P) rated tires

Nitto has the Terra grappler G2 in a 275/65/20 standard load rating, which is a 34” tire

    Towing with 37s?

You may want to consider your available payload as well. Either by weighing your truck as is or if you know the weight of your mods you can do some figuring yourself. I’d imagine your mods have eaten into your payload quite a bit

    1/2 wheel spacer

3/8” spacer is the most you can go without needing longer studs

What is the estimated longevity of the Pentastar V6?

I special ordered a 2014 outdoorsman with the pentastar, that was the first year they put it in the Ram. I was very impressed with it and if I didn’t need to to tow I would absolutely consider one. in fact I am considering finding a used one to us as a daily driver. I think they did a great job...

    Installing a sunroof after purchase.

Everyone is going to tell you absolutely don't get an aftermarket moonroof. If it's a panoramic style roof then yes there is no way I would want someone to do that aftermarket. If it's the smaller one like Ram used to put in I know there is a custom shop by where I live that has two guys there...

    Black Rhino Rapids

They are a very light bronze color. I think they’d look better in a brighter bronze. And the fuel wheels are a very dark bronze. Is that what you are going for? I’ve been eyeing a set of bronze wheels for my truck but the only one I can find that is the right color bronze I like is the method...

    New 3.0L Inline-6 has arrived

Agreed. The wifes 2015 Grand cherokee is getting up there in age and mileage and I think that Wrangler 4XE is going to be our next ride.

    Our First Look At The All-New Twin-Turbo 3.0-liter GME-T6 Inline-Six Engine!

It’s crazy to think that it’s a 2k up charge from the 6.4l. Unless it gets way better MPG I can’t see why you’d want this over the 6.4 unless you just like a turbo engine. Now when it’s offered in the Ram 1500 I can see getting that option if you tow. I know why it’s an up charge from the 6.4l...

    Tow Capacity Confusion

You are just fine. The tow rating of your truck isn’t listed on the door jamb sticker. 7,100lbs is the GVWR of your truck. That is the max weight the truck itself is rated to handle including the curb weight and any weight you add to it. that trailer will be no problem at all for your truck...
