On these new RAMs it’s best to go to the dealer and have him red lash your system to add the correct tire size. It’s $150 but well worth it.

33-12.5r22 is only 3/4 inch wider than 285-55r22. But the 285 is 1 inch taller.

bro listen, look on Nittos website at there Truck tires. Look at the sizes and the recommended rim size. If it says it fits, it fits. On a STOCK 9 inch wheel, I would not go wider than 13.5. No one cares how tall. It’s the width that is “deemed” dangerous in your words.
