I’ve nearly lost my mind scouring through info about tires, but, worth it in the end.
In case anyone wants to know, buy LT if you prefer more aggressive looking tires and are comfortable with the trade-off in performance.
Makes total sense, thank you. I ordered some and thought that I ordered LTs but they are not. Sidebiters seem smaller to me compared to what I’ve seen on LTs (only in YT videos, haven’t seen them up close). That’s not a make or break deal for me, I only tow a few times per year. I was, however...
Hello, quick question for the folks running on Baja Boss ATs - would you absolutely go with an LT tire (not pulling a trailer every single day) or keep with an SI tire. Also, is there much difference in the sidebiters on the LTs? A little more aggressive maybe?
Thank you
Not to my knowledge, but I can’t say for sure. These trucks do have some fairly common issues, just need to be sure that it wasn’t built on a Friday. Or Monday. Or Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 😁
Reading through the more common ones here might keep you proactive and that’ll help to notice early...
4 plastic covers to pry off at the base of the console, then 1 piece on either side of it where it meets the dash. After that it’s 6 10mm bolts to loosen. Pull back, detach 2 connectors and it’s done. There’s enough room in the cab to stand it up and then turn to lay it down and get it out.
I had the same “fix” for mine, if I didn’t have the 1/8” jack plugged into aux my screen would jump constantly from input to input. Since taking the console out I have no issues with power to usbs and the media hub is working as it should. Thing is, I didn’t actually do anything, I just took the...
I was without USBs and rear heated seats for about a year, the 12v on the dash was the only one that worked. The last time I brought my truck in they quoted a bunch of thousands for media hub, 12” screen and wiring harness (everything stopped working after they had taken my dash out)...
Likely cheap’d out on the glass overall in these trucks. I drive mostly highway and my windshield looks like it’s been sandblasted, very much pitted. My ‘14 was not at all like this.
I’ve been having these issues for about a week now. Yesterday the Service Shifter chime would sound about every minute during my drive. Shut the truck off when I went into a store and it wasn’t doing it when I drove back. Other times it was more sporadic. The Park Sense deal is off and on...
What’s funny is that only Canada is referenced in the documentation, so it could have been from here originally - maybe I could ask the guy. From what I understand these ones are 4w.
