No Cold Air Intakes for 5th gen 3.6L???

Hey all, Love my 3.6L most of the time, but it's been really struggling going up the interstate mountains, to the point where I'm getting frustrated. I don't feel like an empty-bed V6 truck should be downshifting from 8th to 5th gear just to get enough torque to maintain 70 mph on a Kentucky...

The weird driving issue that just occurred today (Jolting while accelerating)

Any update on this? I just had the same issue happen this morning on my 3.6

    V6 driving impressions

After the TSB update on my V6 I have come to really like it. I average 21-22 mpg, it gets up and goes when it needs to, and it's an overall smooth ride. It also seems to drive smoother under load, and towing with it has been no problem. Most of my Ram friends have the 5.7 and they are all in...

    Software updates:

Is there a website that lists TSB and other updates for these trucks? My transmission was acting up and when I brought it in they informed me that there was a transmission update - I had no clue and was never informed.

    Dashboard and Entertainment Display

Hey Ddobey, Just my two cents, but in my experience (I have the 8.4 inch), Android Auto and Car Play are more annoying than helpful. I'd recommend just getting a wizgear magenetic phone mount and putting it up just above and to the left of your screen. I use that method even with the bigger...

V6 hard shifts when engine is cold

Hey Mike, sorry to hear about your luck - I can say after driving it the last few days that some of the fix may have been "placebo". It still does jolt/stutter/shift hard every once in a while - so I definitely think there are some issues with the eTorque/3.6 combo. I've driven several of the...

V6 hard shifts when engine is cold

Update: I brought it in to the dealer and there was a transmission update. After running the update I'd say the hard shifting, stuttering, etc has been reduced about 75%. Now I only notice it when the engine is cold (for the first 5-10 minutes), which is still annoying, but better. Would there...

Airaid Throttle Body Spacer for Torque

Hey all, Has anyone had luck with an Airaid Throttle body spacer on their 3.6? Airaid claims better torque in the 800-3000 rpm range, and I've seen several 4th gen 3.6 owners say they actually work. I can't find any spacers for the 3.6 but I have found one for the 5.7. Second question, would...

V6 hard shifts when engine is cold

So I tried this and it seemed to help a bit, but the shifts are still pretty rough while cold.

V6 hard shifts when engine is cold

Please let me know! I'm going to have them look at it at my next oil change as well.

V6 hard shifts when engine is cold

Hopefully someone can help me here - My local ram dealership has mechanics that are far from the best, so I want to try and be educated before I take it to a dealership further away. I'm at ~24,000 miles on my 2019 ram 3.6L and it runs and drives great, except when I first fire it up. When the...

    2020 Pentastar with 40 Series

Was it the super 40 delta flow? I checked on their website and it says it's not compatible with the 2019 ram 1500 but I think it might just not be updated https://www.holley.com/products/exhaust/mufflers/street_chambered_mufflers/40_series_delta_flow/parts/943042

    1 Year 3.6L Review After 15,000 Miles

So a couple guys in my Army unit have the 5.7 hemi, and they have a very similar drive to me (same terrain, weather, etc). They average 14.5 and 15.5. I'm hanging steady at 21.5. So for the driving conditions I'm in it is a much bigger difference than 2 mpg. Results may vary.

    1 Year 3.6L Review After 15,000 Miles

The pedal commander is the best ~$250 you can spend on your truck to make driving it more fun. No hesitation.
