bought my first ever ram with the 2019 1500--what a comfortable truck! however, I have gotten used to the substandard a/c, the squeaky brakes, weird wind noise on driver side---now at 38k miles, the fuel pump goes out....that's a $1000 bill. I have always read consumer reports and other review...
I was an early poster on how underperforming the a/c was on my ram. I went through all the channels.....and basically gave up. However, I took the ram in for some recalls, other things(brakes, wind noise, hood flopping, etc) and I could swear the ac is performing better. 101, hot and humid...
Don't waste too much time trying to get the a/c solved.....Ram will NOT fix it, heck they will say it is "within spec".....so unless you want to take the hit of getting ride of it.....you might as well just enjoy that it's a great truck otherwise-----and just live with the a/c during the hot months
just to let posters know......ram care will do NOTHING to fix this problem....I opened a case, took my truck in 3x to dealer...Now ram care has pulled the dealer off of trying anymore attempts to "fix"....they know that if they try to fix it a 4th time to no avail, the lemon laws could possibly...
i went to a dealer today and test drove another 2019 to check the a/c performance. it had a build date of 2-19.....the a/c performance was still unacceptable. of course, the salesmen were tryin to make every excuse you could think of!!
i was a dummy!! I bought my truck on 7-24-18 and it was baking hot! I noticed the a/c never seemed to cool like you would expect, but i just figured it was because it had just been started and never had a chance to really start cooling... wish i had stopped to think about it now....since i'm...
i think it has been narrowed down to a blend door issue....i have noticed that as the temperature is rising you are seeing a lot more activity on this issue. I hope some owners are having no issues...I have no doubt that if I lived in the mountains in Colorado that I would never have an...
i have the laramie trim, and I think it is the level 1 pkg....8.4" screen, I haven't noticed some of the issues people are talking about...I do notice the brakes squeak, but the a/c performance is far and away my biggest issue....it's a deal breaker for me. If I can't find a way to get FCA to...
you will get no where!! I just "finished" with my case manager. FCA told the dealer to not try any other remedies because the truck's A/C is working as "designed".......so that means that even though probably every other vehicle on the market will blow air to 40degress, even though a 2018 ram...
Well I had my final converation with my case manager, who basically said there is no other remedy within "this building" he gave me an arbitration phone # and FCA corporate address. I guess my step is to consult a lawyer!!
