Production-Ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV Debuts in Detroit

I originally thought that, then the Ram lady out the CO Autoshow tried to tell me it was delayed yet another year and told me to look up the Scout . . . I know they have had working prototypes out for almost 2 years as they have been seen out and about, even towing high up into the mountains...

Production-Ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV Debuts in Detroit

This has got to be the worst build up of any launch that has every happened. We only get a peep (from outside ppl) every couple months and absolutely ZERO information from RAM. The entire world knows they put the Hemi's back into the trucks, I see that every day on TV, on the internet, hear it...

Production-Ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV Debuts in Detroit

I am sure it will have the same suspension adjustments the current ones do. So entry/exit, Aero, normal, OR1 and OR2.

2026 Ram 1500 REV Limited Caught Testing Ahead of Launch

On the video i just posted from TFL Truck, they say the lower trim levels wont have the same tail lights as what is shown on the REV in the video, so I would imagine the MFT will be available and you just wont get the tail light extensions. Simple enough fix. It wont require anything new as...

2026 Ram 1500 REV Limited Caught Testing Ahead of Launch

Here is the video where the guy says there are about 200 REVs out testing and he saw one on the way to the autoshow.

2026 Ram 1500 REV Limited Caught Testing Ahead of Launch

I watched it earlier today, it is unfortunate that the release date is TBD according to Kuniskis, I know he is trying to push a bunch of stuff out over the next few months, but this is really the only truck I am interested in lol. Today's TFL Truck video had a guy saying there are currently...

2026 Ram 1500 REV Limited Caught Testing Ahead of Launch

I did that and the difference is 265lbs, (website shows 2360 max for a DT and 2625 max for the Rev) but I am not sure if there will be an opportunity to get an Rev optioned out like a regular DT optioned for max payload. For example, if you can only get a REV as a Limited or higher trim, then...

2026 Ram 1500 REV Limited Caught Testing Ahead of Launch

It requires a different bed, there are supports on the other end of the bed that are unique to the MFT and the way it attaches requires more than just swapping the tailgate. I hope they are able to retain the MFT as well, but it wont be a deal breaker for me.

2026 Ram 1500 REV Limited Caught Testing Ahead of Launch

I don't think they are going to cancel it, from the "Butter da Insider" youtube site, he had some production start dates and said it would start production around June. So they are going to miss another camping season for me unfortunately. Also with Ford announcing their "REV" and the Scout...

2026 Ram 1500 REV Limited Caught Testing Ahead of Launch

I wish they would release some news on this thing. It is exactly what I am looking for for my camping setup. No gas around town, plenty of towing distance, can power my camper on my property over the summer and i need a couple more hundred payload lbs. I don't want to go with a 3/4 ton as it...

Will the V6 run all the time?

Definately doesnt apply the brakes on mine either, not a good idea on the passes here in CO to have the truck applying brakes on its own even when empty. I have seen too many people burn up their brakes riding them down all the way and have no idea what happened! I agree we are probably...

Will the V6 run all the time?

That is a valid point I have not thought of, may have to think ahead to have battery depleated as much as possible at the top of the "hill". My gut feeling is the recharge rate of brake regen isnt fast enough to max the battery as it takes hours to fully charge it from a commercial charger...

Will the V6 run all the time?

From the engineer interview floating around here, the V6 can provide power directly to the eMotors AND provide charge to the battery at the same time. And min SOC in tow mode? Because that is different. If that is the question, then, according to the engineer it should be able to do what you...

Please post your Tire and Loading sticker

Same here, I actually have a lower payload, but I still found a 32' TT that I can tow (empty tanks and nothing in the truck aside from me, my wife and daughter) with a WD hitch. One thing about the air suspension, do never have to worry about overloading it, as it will tell you if it is too...

Will the V6 run all the time?

No, it will not run all the time, just when needed to charge the battery while driving. The first 140 or so miles will be battery only. Depending on the mode you put it in (ie tow mode) will set the amount the battery can be discharged before the V6 starts up to charge the battery and also can...
