I used a turkey baster to siphon almost all the coolant out of the reservoir. I have attached a picture of the coolant reservoir when it was almost empty.
Here are a couple of pictures of the coolant that was taken out (bowl) and new coolant (measuring cup). The old coolant is a little...
You make a good point about the different fluids. I think I might use a turkey baster and suck all the coolant from the reservoir into a clear container.
Maybe the reservoir is not uniform and it shows a different color in some areas like you mentioned.
I drove it to work today because I was...
That's kind of what I was thinking, but I wanted some other opinions. It should be straight purple and that's it. I was wondering if anyone else that had the H.O. would check theirs. Of course, if they have an issue, it would be the same as mine.
Thanks
I have a 2025 Ram 1500 with High Output Hurricane. I was looking under the hood today and I looked at the coolant reservoir. I was wondering if anyone else with the H.O. Hurricane could look at their coolant reservoir to see if their coolant looks the same. I drove it yesterday, but not today...

Was there a harness in there for the digital rear view mirror? I wonder how hard it is to add that. Does it come with the camera already installed?
My 2016 Lone Star doesn't have passive entry and that's one thing I missed on my 2014 Dodge Charger. It also didn't have dual zone HVAC (which I also missed from the Charger), but I did the single zone HVAC mod. At least I can set the temperature now.
That 2002 is a looooong truck. I bet that is a nightmare in some parking lots.
My 1999 had the 5.9L Magnum. It was a decent engine. I had that truck for 15 years and hardly had any problems with it. I looked back when I figured out how to see the date it was built and it was built on a...
Thanks.
I will update the thread as events happen.
Thanks
If it wasn't at the dealership, I wouldn't have worried too much about it. I have great hearing (just ask my kids) and I hear everything.
Thanks
It's about that time for candy apples so treat yourself!!
It's a bed squeak. Sometimes...
