Your issue could likely be the wiring for your 4-oin plug going to your front differential actuator. I replaced my entire actuator, then found a video of a guy wiggling the wiring, and that fixed all my 4x4 issues. Same guy makes an aftermarket kit to replace the strained wires and connector...

There’s a red tab, you need to slide towards back of plug, and it moves pretty easy for me.

I just bought a 2019 Laramie 1500 and the previous owner said both 4wd actuators need to be replaced. After reading on forums I learned with the oil filter directly above it, the plug can get gunked up. Before ordering new actuators I wanted to clean the plug
