Mine has done this a bunch too. The dealer was never able to find anything and now the truck is out of warranty. Edit: I'm on transmission #3 and engine #2. The truck only has 36,000 miles on it.

Would the CD player still work if this is done on a 2019?

Which other forum is Caulk04 on? The new transmission is running just as hot. By the way the truck has 33.5k miles.

The dealer installed another new transmission. I'm on my 3rd transmission...and 2nd engine. They replaced the transmission heating and cooling system too. We'll see if it's fixed or not. I've been a big Mopar fan my whole life but this truck might end that.

I guess I got a bad transmission then. I've been running at 242 degrees unloaded. I called the dealer and they can't look at it for 3 more weeks.

The dealerships remove the windshield when they replace the headliner. For whatever reason they went through like 4 windshields when they replaced my headliner from the 3rd brake light leak.

Bump as this seems to be the main cap thread. Is there anything I should look for in a mid or high rise cap?

You can justify it if you need the space where the stock intake sits. I'm thinking about getting it so I have room for an air compressor there.

I'd rather have a v8. It sounds better and will get better mileage while towing. There is a reason why Ford brought out the 7.3L gas engine.

I run mine on 93 as there was still some occasional knock with 89.
