Just tell the shop that you take it to what happened and they can make sure the axle is not bent and it will be aligned. If you take it to a proper shop that probably a 10k repair and it should be just as good as new when you get it back. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Mine does this once in awhile too... not sure what causes it. My grand Cherokee did the same thing

The new moulding most likely came with new clips on it already. They are not usually reuseable.
