This is my second 2019 that does it. Both started about 3-4k miles. Feels like driveshaft, brakes, rear-end, transmission or something binding up then slipping back in to place. Would love to put cameras in various locations to monitor during braking, then brake release. The harder I brake the...
Had the same wind noise on two 2019 RAM 1500s. First truck had major tornado damage at 4k miles. Get it back from repairs and notice noise. Had my wife look around while I was driving. She looks around, then noticed in the passenger mirror the trim flapping in the wind. Around 30 mph the top...
Installed Rough Country 2" N3 struts on my 2WD. Had to get the front up some. Looks great, feels good. Wanted to do it myself but all my shop tools are in storage bc tornado damage took care of last house and last 2019 RAM. $329 struts (Amazon) $329 install & alignment (Louisiana Tire and Lift)...
Getting my truck back soon. Been at paint shop for over a month. $21,000 worth of tornado damage. This should be interesting. Truck was 4 months old with 4k miles when I dropped it off. Needed complete Tri-Coat paint job, windshield, grill, mirrors, driver door, rear-door glass, trim here and...
Two cents: I am for a catch can on a vehicle I plan to keep for it's lifetime. The benefits are way down the road. But I don't want to own this RAM when the warranty runs out. There is to much going on in these vehicles today. But I will be in line to get a new one when the warranty is up...
I hear ya. One of the first things I do every time I get in my RAM is disable cylinder deactivation/ECO by shifting down the transmission into manual mode. I like all 8 cylinders running all the time. I let it do its ECO mode every once in while to keep things working properly.
Nice. Speaking of 3D, I installed 3D air suspension links last night. Got the front end up where I want it now. Would like to get the back down a little to completely level. Not sure I want it $90 worth.
Watch "Purolator Classic - Purolator One - Purolator Boss Oil Filter Review" on YouTube
Not trying to push Purolator filters, everyone has their preferences. I have never bought one of these before. But at 7:40 on this video you can see how strong the shell is. The mopar filter I took off was...
I have an adjustable angle, small oil filter wrench. I think the filter shell is thin. It started to collapse and twist. I was starting to get worried. Once I saw it turn just a little, figured I was good. Then when I thought all the oil that was gonna come out was in the ziplock bag, nope. It...

I always put Fumoto valves on all my vehicles at first oil change. I really enjoy doing my own oil changes. I do like to keep it neat and easy. Heard about these RAM's with 5.7 being a bugger. Had no issue with draining oil. Did have a little trouble with filter, it got a little twisted during...
